Creevy Rising is an area inside Creevy Cave in Cloghvally Lower, County Monaghan, where cavers first entered in the 1960s but did not recognise its archaeological meaning until 2009. They found a possible hearth and post-medieval pottery on an earthen platform six and a half metres long and four metres wide, bounded by stones beside a separate stone structure. The cave may have served as a hidden kitchen, shelter or meeting place long before modern boots marked its floor.
