What is recorded here
Half sunken and leaking green light, the castle still aims its gun port down the Easky like a warning never fully discharged. The smaller room projects over the water with nine musket loops, while the larger upper chamber remains empty except for rain, birds and the memory of watching. A low bawn wall curves around the north and west, thin as a forgotten idea but enough to suggest that people once lived inside the danger rather than merely passing it.
Castletown Castle is recorded as a ruins in County Sligo. Its open map record supplies this location and any linked names or public references.
