What is recorded here

Remains of gate screen, extant 1838, on a symmetrical plan including pair of part ivy-covered piers having dragged cut-limestone "Cyma Recta" or "Cyma Reversa" cornices below capping. Now disused. Set in wooded grounds shared with Castlecarra.
The remains of a Classically-detailed gate screen surviving as an interesting relic of the much-depleted Castlecarra estate.
