What is recorded here
Detached single-storey gable-fronted industrial building, c.1870, with three-bay side elevation. Roughcast rendered walls. Cast-iron windows to south. Plain doorways to east and west. Pitched slate roof. Located on spit of land between river and mill race, with iron girder lintel at base level over opening.
A modest, functional building associated with the weir and water works. Though of humble appearance, it is a valuable industrial fragment in an area once rich in mills and associated buildings.
