Single-arch limestone railway bridge, built 1862, carrying road traffic over railway tracks. Rusticated limestone walls with dressed string courses and copings to parapets. Elliptical-headed arch with rock-faced rusticated voussoirs.

The railway bridge is skilfully constructed with roughly dressed limestone walls. The dressings are finely carved and are clearly the work of expert craftsmen. The bridge serves as a reminder of the quality of the engineering and local craftsmen's skills in the nineteenth century.
