Parknadoon HouseGate lodge · 191 yd

Explorer Tom Parknadoon House looks like a gate lodge that got lost on its way to being a castle. The Vikings supposedly got confused looking for it and ended up in London instead. Ideal place to rehearse an excuse for being late.

Tralee Railway StationTurntable · 275 ydClonalour HouseHouse · 302 yd

Explorer Tom Clonalour House in Cloonalour makes a sound at night that sounds exactly like a ghost clearing its throat. It’s got extensions that look like they were added by an angry architect. Find a local and ask them the real story, then come back and tell me.

Marian HouseHouse · 318 yd

Explorer Tom Marian House in Tralee is locked in a fairy dispute over parking rights. Those bowed windows are glaring at anyone who parks too close to the curb. Have a wander and a wonder around its stomping grounds.

store/warehouse338 yd

Explorer Tom Store or warehouse in Tralee would be a terrible history teacher because it forgets everything after 1887. It just stands there, judging you for not knowing its past. Linger, it's not going anywhere and neither should you.

worker's house351 yd

Explorer Tom Worker's house in Tralee has a bad poem about it that goes: 'Oh the station, oh the stone, why are you still standing alone?' It’s got a little extension that looks like it grew out of spite. Best enjoyed with a bag of chips and no plans.

Explorer Tom Ogham stone in Ratass is sick of being asked if it can read, even though it’s purple and fancy. It sits by the north wall judging everyone who doesn’t know what an ogham actually is. Hang around long enough and you'll hear a story from a local.

Monterey Pine1.1 mi

Explorer Tom This Monterey Pine in County Kerry refuses to fall because it’s waiting for its retirement fund to clear up. It’s been standing there since the last ice age, apparently. Find the date carved somewhere and feel clever.
