Gates in Tralee has Town Park railings dating from about 1925, with benches added nearby around 1972. In the grand Irish tradition of ‘I’ll be with you in a minute, ’ somewhere to sit arrived forty-seven years later.
Wrought-iron railings to plinth wall of Town Park with concrete coping and ashlar piers c. 1925. Wrought-iron gates. Later wrought-iron railings to adjacent Pairc an Phiarsaigh and rubble stone and timber benches c. 1972.
