Triple-arch road bridge over An Sulán [Sullane River], built c.1830, with various recent alterations. Rubble and cut limestone construction with V-cutwaters and limestone voussoirs to segmental arches. Cut limestone pilasters, piers, copings and string course.

A fine example of one of the series of bridges spanning An Sulán [Sullane River]. Its design and construction is a testament to nineteenth century craftsmanship. Centrally located within Baile Bhuirne [Ballyvourney] it is a reminder of the provisions which were made in the nineteenth century to improve trade and communications.
