Hump-backed road bridge (Wth 7.2m) over the Shournagh River, just W of disused Donoughmore-Blarney railway line. Three elliptical arches: central arch the tallest; roughly cut voussoirs with prominent key stones; ledges along pier to support arch during construction. Low pointed breakwaters. Ornate pilasters on piers over breakwaters and on abutments. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
