Ballylevin Ho.

Described by Loeber (1988, vol. 1, 55) as Ballylevan House (ext. dims. 17m x 7.5m) consisting of diagonal chimney stacks which originally had a thatched roof now replaced by a modern roof with a partial cellar underneath, orginal dormers in thatch that were replaced by 20th century windows. 1641 depositions of this area mentions Chas. Cosby of Ballyleven, Co. Offaly (TCD, MS 814 J. 546; Loeber 1988, vol. 1, 55). No evidence of any dwelling pre-1700 in area marked on six inch OS 6-inch map.
