Triple-arch road bridge over River Knoppoge, built c. 1830. Segmental arches with roughly coursed rubble stone walls and render copings. Tooling to roughly dressed arch voussoirs, and V-cutwaters to upstream elevation.

This bridge is a solidly constructed example of a nineteenth-century road bridge. The upstream cutwaters are an example of the creation of engineering solutions to practical problems and were designed to lesson the impact of flood waters on the bridge, thus protecting its structural integrity. The bridge is an important element in the landscape and helps to contextualise the surrounding architectural heritage. Iit is one of two bridges with this name crossing the same river, the other being upstream and slightly larger.
