Triple-arch road bridge over River Flesk, built c. 1840. Coursed rubble stone walls having render copings. Elliptical arches having light tooling to voussoirs, with V-cutwaters to upstream elevation.

This bridge is a solidly constructed example of a nineteenth-century road bridge. The upstream cutwaters are an example of the creation of engineering solutions to practical problems. They are designed to lesson the impact flood waters would have on the bridge, protecting its structural integrity. The bridge is an important element in the landscape and helps to contextualise the surrounding architectural heritage.
