Detached three-bay two-storey house, built c. 1910, having flat roofed single-bay return to rear and recent single-storey extension to rear of return. Pitched slate roof having decorative terracotta ridge tiles and rendered chimneystacks with terracotta chimney pots and some cast-iron rainwater goods. Painted rendered walls with painted plinth course. Square-headed window openings having timber sliding sash windows, tripartite one-over-one pane to facade and two-over-two pane single windows to rear, with painted stone sills. Replacement uPVC windows to return. Square-headed entrance doorway having decoratively half-glazed timber door flanked by fixed timber sidelights. Curved entrance gateway having painted rendered walls, square-plan inner and outer piers with caps and decorative cast-iron double-leaf gates and wrought-iron pedestrian gate.This pleasant middle sized late nineteenth century house is recessed from the road in landscaped grounds. The building retains numerous interesting features such as timber sliding sash windows, some cast-iron rainwater goods and terracotta chimney pots.
