Ardballan Moat is a cist in County Louth, Ireland, where local tradition claims bones appeared beneath a flagstone during removal. The moat may have marked a boundary, a burial place, or a forgotten ritual site. Its disappearance suggests people once valued the land enough to shape it, then forgot the reason.
