Terraced two-bay three-storey house, c.1830, on a corner site originally two-bay two-storey with dormer attic retaining some early fenestration with single-bay three-storey side elevation to north-west. Part refenestrated, c.1980. Reroofed, pre-1999, with top floor formalised. Pitched artificial slate roof, pre-1999, with concrete ridge tiles, rendered chimney stack, and uPVC rainwater goods on rendered eaves. Painted roughcast walls with remains of lime render to some surfaces. Square-headed window openings with stone sills (concrete sills to additional floor). 2/2 timber sash windows to front (south-west) elevation with replacement timber casement windows, c.1980, to side (north-west) elevation, and timber casement windows, pre-1999, to additional floor. Square-headed door opening with replacement timber panelled door, pre-1999. Road fronted on a corner site with concrete footpath to front.

Despite alterations in the late twentieth century to accommodate an additional floor, this house remains an important element of the townscape, occupying a prominent corner site linking Barrack Street with Parade Square. The retention of a number of early salient features and materials considerably enhances the historic quality of the site.
