Pair of semi-detached two-bay two-storey former workers' houses, built c.1920, later in use as single house, now unoccupied. Pitched slate and artificial slate roof having rendered eaves course to front (south) elevation, rendered chimneystack and uPVC rainwater goods. Roughcast rendered walls throughout. Square-headed window openings with rendered sills throughout, having two-over-two pane sliding sash windows to front elevation. Timber battened shutter to window opening to gable of side (west) elevation. Square-headed door opening to front elevation having timber battened door. Blocked door opening to west end of front elevation.

This simply designed pair of former workers' houses has maintained its historic character and much of its original fabric. The timber sliding sash windows and battened timber door, together with its small scale proportions add historic interest to the streetscape. Workers' houses of this type, in this case associated with a nearby mill, are interesting reminders of Ireland’s industrial past.
