What is recorded here

Freestanding square-profile tapered red brick chimney, built c.1860, having string course and stepped cornice to top.
An integral part of the Roundhill Mills complex, this fine chimneystack adds much interest to the site. Its tall, tapering form makes it a notable feature in the surrounding landscape. Together with the mill, related outbuildings and miller's house, it forms part of an eye-catching roadside group which once played a significant role in the local community.
