Cast-iron water pump, erected c.1870, with banded and fluted shaft and cap and bucket shelf to base. Recently added tap.

This cast-iron water pump, located on a main approach road to the town of Eyrecourt, would have once functioned as a communal water source. Made by the Shannon Foundry, Limerick.
