What is recorded here

Found by Windele in 1843 who described '...an extraordinary work'...'with flooring (12 feet long), sluice (15 feet long) and sides of oak. (Rynne 1988, 326). Site not located. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
