What is recorded here

Cast-iron post box set into house gable, erected c.1930. Segmental-headed box with rectangular letter opening, rectangular display panel, keyhole and P&T monogram.
This cast-iron post box is an attractive addition to the village streetscape. Such boxes are now becoming increasingly rare as they are often being replaced by plastic boxes.
