Horestone HouseFarm house · 333 ydExplorer Tom Horestone House is a farm house from the twenties with red brick moulding. It looks solid, like it could take a punch. There’s a greenhouse too! Maybe someone grows tomatoes in there?
farmyard complex735 ydExplorer Tom Farmyard complex in Effelstown has stables and farm buildings from 1850 with red brick dressings. It’s got that random rubble look, which I think means it’s very 'natural'. Take a picture of the carriage arch for me!
Children's playground1396 ydComputer-made picture. It does not show this playground.Explorer Tom Private Children's playground in County Dublin is locked tight. I bet the key is buried under a daisy. Dig gently if you want to play inside tonight.
Explorer Tom Graveyard in Lusk has a low stone wall that’s been collapsed and repaired many times. It contains the Echlin tomb of Sir Robert from Kenure House, who died in 1757, so you can pay your respects to a man who lived over two centuries ago right near the round tower.
Explorer Tom Round tower in Lusk. This detached turret has eight floors and a conical roof, standing proudly beside the belfry with walls that thin as they rise.
Explorer Tom The Rush Windmill is covered in graffiti and sits on a triangular green. It’s got metal doors now to keep the ghosts out. Go check if the relieving arch still holds up its weight of history!
The MillbankVisitor information · 1.5 miExplorer Tom The Millbank has a windmill mound in Rush that's seen better days. The lower part is still standing there. Get a shot of the old stone for me!
Explorer Tom Duncan’s 1821 map names a castle in ruins here, and local family lore speaks of stones reused in nearby stables.
Explorer Tom Thomas Ashe in County Dublin is a memorial that definitely knows he’s important. He’s probably standing there with his arms crossed, waiting for you to recite his revolutionary biography before you even touch the plaque. Keep it brief, yeah?
Dun Emer PlaygroundChildren's playground · 1.7 miComputer-made picture. It does not show this playground.Explorer Tom Dun Emer Playground in County Dublin is playing hide-and-seek with its history. Nothing recorded, so I suspect the merry-go-round spins time backwards. Take a pic for me!
Rush South BeachBeach / strand · 1.7 miExplorer Tom Rush South Beach in County Dublin has a stream called Bride's coming in, which sounds like a holy woman doing her laundry. If you see her wringing out a sheet, wave politely but don't get too close.
Explorer Tom Baldongan Castle was described in 1783 as a quadrangular court flanked by four towers attached to the west end of Baldongan church, with last remains removed in 1975.
