What is recorded here
Detached five-bay single-storey rendered garage, built c.1940, with pilasters, pediment and parapet. Square-headed openings with timber-battened doors, and steel pivot windows. Roof hidden by parapet. Modern extension to rear. Wheel guard to site.
This building is an excellent example of a stylish mid-twentieth-century garage. The sleek and simple detailing of the building complement the architectural form. Fortunately it is in good condition and retains its steel pivot windows and timber-battened doors.
