Tor an Éidigh is a sea cliff or coastal rock feature composed of Silurian-age volcanic and sedimentary rocks, formed around 440 to 420 million years ago during ancient volcanic activity and subsequent marine deposition. It is notable for its association with the broader Slieve Foyne volcanic complex and its exposure of rare mafic igneous intrusions along the northwest Irish coast.
