Belgian monks at Glenstal abbey built a stone shelter around a mass-rock in Cappercullen Glen, fitting a rescued tomb panel into the east wall like a hidden door. The panel measures two metres across, carries a blind ogee-headed design, and may have stood in Owney Abbey during the 16th century before woodland and water claimed its first address. A chest tomb reduced to one side becomes a room without memory, yet the star-vaulting still repeats itself across the stone, suggesting someone once laid a body beneath that much ceremony.

Located in woodland in Cappercullen Glen beside a stream which marks the townland boundary between Garranbane and Boarmanshill with Cappercullen Castle (LI007-010001-) 465m to SW. Side panel (L 2m; H 0.63m) from chest tomb of possible 16th century date originally located in Owney Abbey (LI014-014002-).
