Toberowen

Situated beside a stream at the foot of a slight N-facing slope. Spring in a stone housing, dedicated to St John and still occasionally visited. Linked to St John, the well at Toberowen is traditionally associated with healing and protection, with visitors sometimes making offerings or seeking blessings. Holy wells dedicated to St John were often visited on St John's Eve (23–24 June) for rituals involving fire, purification, and divination.
