Located towards the head of a sligt NW-SE valley. The well, known as Tobar na bhFiacal - the Teeth Well, and described as such on the 1840 and 1927 eds of the OS 6-inch map is an open pond (dims. 4m N-S; 2-3m E-W), which may be an origin of the stream in the valley. There are no traditions associated with it. Date of upload: 10th October, 2011 Compiled by: Michael Moore
Tobernaveakle, also known as Tobar na bhFiacal or the Teeth Well, is associated with a tradition of curing toothache, a practice common at many Irish holy wells linked to Saint Gobnait or other saints connected with dental healing. The name and function suggest a long-standing folk tradition, though specific patronal associations for this site are not clearly recorded.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
