Natural spring well situated in large waterlogged hollow depression (dims. 13m N-S; 8m E-W; D 1.2m) on the S bank of the river Suir in flat grassland with good views in all directions. Modern concrete slabs over spring well, no evidence of any votive offerings or any evidence of pilgrimage to this well. Toberaphaddreen means "Well of the Rosary Beads". Linked to Saint Gobnait, the well is traditionally associated with cures for eye ailments and was historically visited by pilgrims seeking her intercession. The site reflects a broader Irish tradition of holy wells dedicated to early Christian saints, often connected with healing and local folklore.
