At the base of a ridge in marshy pastureland. Holy well defined by a large circular rubble-strewn hollow (D 6m) which feeds a stream which flows out to S. Traditionally associated with St Patrick (Neary 1914, 125, no. 50).

Linked to St Patrick, Tobarmore Well is traditionally believed to have healing properties, particularly for ailments of the eyes and general wellness. The site's circular hollow and flowing stream suggest long-standing ritual use, with early references dating to 1914.
