Thirty-four metres of grass and stone circle the memory of Ballintava. Large limestone boulders still stand on edge along the outer bank, while a well-defined eastern entrance invites entry into the forgotten centre. The fairies may have taken the houses, but they left behind a shape wide enough for people to walk through and remember.

On a gentle slope in grassland. Poorly preserved circular rath (D 34m) defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. A scarp forms the inner enclosing element from NNW to E. The outer bank is revetted with large limestone boulders set on edge and the td. boundary overlies it from S to W. Well-defined entrance at E.
