Explorer Tom Abbey Well in Abbey-Lands, County Cork, sits in a housing estate near a friary. It’s cut into the rockface, so keep an eye out for it between the houses and don't slip on the concrete step.

store/warehouse369 ydExplorer Tom Gaol in Townplots is actually Desmond Castle, built by the Fitzgeralds and used as a prison for French captives. The arms are over the door. It's full of secrets. Take a picture for me if you can find it!

Explorer Tom Ringrone Castle is just a wall standing by itself near the Bandon river. Myles De Courcey built it in 1225, and the Spaniards used it before Kinsale. It’s not much left, but it’s still got that de Courcy attitude. Wave at the wall!
