Adjacent to ruined farm buildings to E of remains of Young Grove house. Remains consist of overgrown roughly circular earthen platform (diam. c. 10m; H c. 1m) outside N wall of farm building. Iron shaft projecting into adjacent farm building transferred power from platform to interior. Farmbuildings on site of Young Grove house as shown on 1842 OS 6-inch map; large ruin of house to E, which replaced latter house, not shown on that map.
