What is recorded here
Thomas Francis Brennan was born on 10 October 1855 at Bally Cullen, between Cloneen and Mullinahone, in County Tipperary, Ireland. He later described the birthplace as sitting on the banks of the sweet and smiling Annar River, with old Slievenamon lifting his haughty brow above them. That much is known; the rest of his life kept disappearing into other countries and other men's memories.
