Not marked on any OS ed. Situated in rough mountainous terrain. Richardson (1939, 35) recorded that it was demolished a few years ago. Not visited. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cavan' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1995). Linked to traditional sweat-house rituals used for healing and purification, particularly in mountainous regions of Ireland. These structures were often associated with saintly or folkloric cures, though specific saints or local legends connected to this site are not recorded.
