Structure

Seven pieces of mixed brushwood (Wth 0.35m; D 0.13m). The brushwood is closely set and generally parallel except for a single irregularly laid outlier. They lie in well-humified Sphagnum peat containing fibrous roots. SMR OF010-280---- is 0.1m below this site. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2001. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
