What is recorded here

A radially split timber underlain by a piece of light brushwood (L 0.85m; Wth 0.2m; D 0.09m). The site is in moderately humified Sphagnum peat. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2001. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
