A half-split plank (L 0.98m min.; Wth 0.085m) in the drain face. The plank is quite decayed and is in moderately humified Sphagnum peat containing Phragmites. It is located 4.9m NW of SMR OF018-050----. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1997. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
