What is recorded here

Two fragmentary pieces of light brushwood (L 1m min.; Wth 0.45m; D 0.04m) set in poorly humified Sphagnum peat with Eriophorum and fibrous roots. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2001. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
