Structure

A dispersed, irregular deposit of fourteen pieces of light brushwood (L 3.23m min.; Wth 0.52m min.; D 0.09m min.). Toolmarks are visible on two elements. The wood is in moderate condition and set in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with Eriophorum. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2001. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
