Structure

Two closely set roundwoods (L 1.04m min.; Wth 0.12m; D 0.1m), one with evidence of branch-trimming. The wood is in moderate condition and set in poorly humified Sphagnum peat with fibrous roots. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2001. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
