Structure

A single piece of brushwood (L 0.102m; diam. 0.03m) in poorly humified Sphagnum peat with some Eriophorum and fibrous roots. A second piece of worked brushwood (diam. 0.015m), is located in the opposing drain face. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2001. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
