Structure

An irregular deposit (Wth 1.09m; D 0.27m) of two roundwoods (diam. 0.07-0.08m). One element appears to have been displaced and may have formed a single roundwood. The wood is in moderate condition and set in poorly humified Sphagnum peat with some fibrous roots. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2001. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
