What is recorded here

Detached former goods shed, built c.1920, having timber canopy to front (north) elevation over loading platform. Now in use as commercial outbuilding. Barrel vaulted bitumen roof with timber cross beams to interior and cast-iron rainwater goods. Timber bevelled board walls. Square-headed door opening with double-leaf corrugated-iron sliding doors.
Formerly a goods shed, this building forms part of a group with the adjacent former station and bridge. The canopy provided shelter for loading and unloading goods. It is a reminder of a time when rail was used as the main form of transport for goods and people during the late nineteenth and earlier twentieth centuries.

This does not grant access. Most recorded buildings are privately owned; view them only from public ground unless the owner allows entry.
