Roughcast rendered walls with red brick block-and-start quoins and smooth rendered plinth. Camber-headed openings with six-over-six timber sliding sash windows, concrete sills, red brick block-and-start surrounds and cast-iron window guards. Camber-headed opening with double-leaf timber battened door, blocked overlight, red brick block-and-start surround and step. Later attached outbuildings to south.
This building has a similar style to the military building to the north, but has an individual overall plan. Though constructed as a functional building, it has decorative detailing and displays attention to detail. It makes a picturesque addition to the shore.
