Terrace of five two-bay single-storey houses with dormers, built c.1900, formerly in military use, now in use as private houses. Recent porches and extensions to rear (north). Pitched artificial slate roofs with rendered chimneystacks and cast-iron and uPVC rainwater goods. Snecked stone walls to ground floor, with red brick block-and-start surrounds to openings, quoins and string course over openings. Rendered walls to upper level, having rendered quoins and block-and-start surrounds. Square-headed openings with concrete sills and replacement uPVC windows. Square-headed door openings with timber glazed and replacement uPVC doors. Rubble tone boundary walls with piers and wrought-iron gates to all sides.

These houses are typical of the domestic dwellings which were built in conjunction with military barracks. Such terraces are very distinctive as the design detail, materials and execution are of high standards. The form of this attractive terrace and its picturesque siting make a positive contribution to the island's architectural heritage.
