What is recorded here

Mentioned in local legend and the Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim, this is a limestone slab standing on the north-facing slope of a low hill in Wardhouse. It measures 1.35 metres long, 0.3 metre wide and 0.85 metres high, aligned east to west. Small enough to touch, large enough to mark a direction, it still stands where people have looked at it for generations.
