What is recorded here
A reusable public picture page identifies this place as Cliffs by Bundoran. This entry is kept separately because no one government record could be safely joined to that public name and point.
The cliffs by Bundoran are composed primarily of Carboniferous limestone, formed around 340 to 320 million years ago through the accumulation of marine sediments. These cliffs are notable for their dramatic coastal scenery and their exposure of layered sedimentary rock that provides insight into ancient marine environments.
The public picture does not grant access. Check the route and ask before entering private land.
