What is recorded here

A large block of sandstone traditionally believed to have been brought from the summit of Beagh Mountain by St Molua. It apparently once stood near St Molua's Well (OF039-055002-) (Feehan 1979, 140). No visible remains at ground level. No surface remains of any standing stone or any large boulder in the field near the holy well (OF039-055002-) that is described by Feehan as 'Near it [holy well] stood a large block of sandstone believed to have been brought by Saint Molua from the top of Beagh mountain' (Feehan 1979, 140).
