Standing stone in Rathclare

On bank on N side of avenue leading to Spitalfields House. Stone (H 0.8m; 0.8m x 0.7m) is subrectangular in plan, long axis N-S. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
