What is recorded here
No stone remains in the undulating meadowland of Mosstown, Rathcline By. The oldest local survey marked a standing stone there, but newer maps erased it. The meadow keeps the shape of what disappeared, inviting people to imagine whether men moved the stone, buried it or simply stopped seeing it.
In undulating meadowland. A 'Standing Stone' is indicated at this location on the OS Fair Plan but it is not represented on subsequent OS 6-inch maps. No visible remains.
