What is recorded here
Situated in gently undulating pasture, c. 5m SE of a field drain. There are good views to N, W and S. Upright limestone pillar (H 0.66m; Wth 0.2m; Th. 0.2m). It has been by cattle for scratching so that it now stands in a gentle depression. Doubtful antiquity, seems to have been erected as a cattle scratching post, different morphologically from nearby standing stones (LI014-140-/042-)
